The Mission of the Institute is dedicated to the application of Three Essential Elements to the Realm of Cyberspace. These elements are:
In conformity with its Mission, the Institute undertakes major projects and studies of contemporary cyberspace and related issues to which it applies the mastery of the Three Essential Elements of its Mission.
As the first project of this kind, upon its inception, the Institute is engaged in the production of a major study on the Reliability of the Global Undersea Communications Cable Infrastructure, or ROGUCCI in short. The targeted publishing timeframe for this Study is 2025.
The Two Founders of the Institute have collaborated together on matters of international cybersecurity, undersea cable infrastructure, and related economic and policy issues since 2009.
The Two Founders are joined by a team of individual contributors, each of whom commands world-class expertise in his respective field. In addition, in conducting its research and analysis, the Institute typically engages hundreds of industry and government experts as well as major stakeholders.
The Institute's unique approach is based on engineering principles and scientific fundamentals which address the complexity of cyberspace and the nature of its underlying ingredients. These methods have proven effective in applications of increasing consequence for over 25 years.
